This blog is for people trying to get an image out of one format and into another. It is small and it is early. If your product is useful to that reader, a placement here reaches them at the moment they have the problem you solve. If it is not, no amount of traffic would help, and this page will not pretend otherwise.

Who reads it

Search traffic, at-the-keyboard intent, trying to finish a task. Not a general tech audience.

  • People whose browser saved a WebP and now nothing on their desktop will open it.
  • People deciding between JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF for a specific job and wanting the trade-offs, not a definition.
  • People converting an image without uploading it to a site they do not control.
  • People reading an extension's permission list and trying to work out what it can actually see.

The Save Image As Type extension has its own, much larger install base. That is a different population reached through a different channel, and it is not counted anywhere on this page. A media kit that folded the two together would be inflating the number you are buying against.

How big it is

Small, and honest about it.

The domain has been indexed since the middle of 2026 and the blog was rebuilt that August, so most of the articles are still climbing in search. The traffic is modest and growing. Email for the current Search Console figures before you commit to anything, and you will get them, blog and site search only, with no rounding in our favour.

The reason a placement can be worth it at this size is the same reason a small sponsor paid TheTab, another blog in this family, when no ad network would: a partner is buying the audience's topic, not its volume. Every reader here arrived with an image-format problem. If that is your buyer, a hundred of them beats ten thousand people reading about something else.

What a placement is

Three shapes, all disclosed, all removable.

A disclosed mention

A sponsored paragraph or link inside an article on a topic that fits yours. Labelled as paid above the fold, in the article's own words, with the link carrying rel="sponsored" and nofollow.

A slot on a comparison page

Commercial and comparison articles are the only ones that may carry a placement at all. A how-to or explainer carries an install link and an email signup and nothing else - that split is enforced in the build, not left to judgement.

For a fixed run

Monthly, or the length of a campaign, tied to a named page. When the run ends the disclosure and the link come out.

What we will not do

The extension this site sells exists because the original was removed for injecting affiliate links nobody disclosed. This list is the opposite of that, on purpose.

  • No undisclosed links. Every paid link is labelled paid, above the fold, where a reader sees it before the link.
  • No dofollow for money. Paid links are rel="sponsored" and nofollow, always.
  • No editorial control. We write the article and we do not send it for approval. You buy a placement in it, not a say over it.
  • No placement on a page whose reader did not come to buy anything. Informational and how-to articles are off the table.
  • No promises about rankings, traffic or outcomes. The numbers on this page are all you get to plan against.

When a placement runs, the article that carries it names the sponsor and states exactly what the sponsor did and did not get. That disclosure is required by the site's own content rules before the article will build.

Who it fits

The reader has an image problem. The question is whether you solve one.

A fit

  • Design and creative tools
  • Stock photo and asset libraries
  • CDN and image-optimisation services
  • Developer tooling
  • Privacy and security tools

Not a fit

  • Other image converters or format tools - those are competitors, not sponsors
  • Anything that needs the surrounding article to make a claim it would not otherwise make

What it costs

There is no rate card, because the numbers are too small and too fast-moving to fix one.

For reference, an independent publisher of similar work sells a disclosed, nofollow placement at around $499 a month. This blog is smaller than that, so the price is lower and it is set per deal: against a specific page, for a specific run, in proportion to what that page is actually getting in traffic at the time.

Tell us the product, the topic you want to be next to, a budget range and a timeframe. We will say what is available, what it would cost, and whether we think it is worth it for you, which sometimes the answer is no.

Include what you sell, which topic or article you want to be near, a budget range and when you want it to run. A link to your product is enough for us to tell whether it is a fit.
